Trace your RO/RX and check where the voltage dropped and also check 0v8 and 1v8 but the problem is most likely broken RO/RX it’s 1.8v running from the last chip to the first chip
17:36
if you have 0v on RO/RX on the last chip Check the chip and if the chip is good then proceed to your boost chip
NN

Rx is 1.8v to all chips

Well it says in the miner log. “Temperature exceeds max temp, kill all hashboard” is it because the temp sensors are broken? All fans are good though
MA
18:10
Meshal Adel
Well, usually if the sensor are not working it would give an PIC error in the log … if it does not appears in the log then the sensor are ok and the temperature is high of the room if you are using air cooling

Thank you! It does that “fail to read pic temp for chain 1” and “pic read iic failed ” we can conclude that this is a sensor problem right ?

Usually if you have a PIC problem then the cause one of the following:
1. tmp sensor failure, and can be solved by replace the TMP sensor (most common the inlet sensor)
2. Resistors and capacitor connected to TMP sensor (missed or damaged). This is solved by replacing them
3. Track between the sensors, tracks might be rusted or damaged. Can use multimeter to check the connection between them pin1 in TMP1 should be connected to pin1 in TMP2 then pin1 in TMP3 and filing Pin1 in TMP4. Do the same Pin2, Pin4 and Pin8

Pin5, 6 and 7 connected to 1K ohm

Hello ! If you have asic 3 in red, it means that the programmer is telling you that the signal is even there. Logically you would have to change the asic 4, of course, you would have to check signals before determining a change of asic .. visually check if it has the resistance, or if it does not have any trace of tin stuck by the asic 3 or 4.

I have a bunch of T17e and S17 (more than 10 boards) that won’t mine because the original bitmain software shows “0” asic found, whereas the ARC Tester shows 78 asic.
So it quite difficulties repair …
Is there something I can do ?

1 of 65 Asics is Bad, short 1,8 and RO signal and find bad asic. One asic chip gives -1 chip error, so for example when you short chip 30 and tester show 29 and when you short chip 29 and found 29chips, 30chip IS bad
